Ahh man. Doesn’t seem worth it lol.

Just mix with high proof alcohol for better bioavailability.

That scene is trainspotting is horrifying. Almost as scary as the dead baby crawling on the ceiling during his wd lol.

If you liked that movie, watch Reindeer Spotting on Netflix. It’s about finnish subutex abusers. Pretty interesting documentary.

Also. There is a new documentary coming out soon about Oceana, WV called Oxyana. Can’t wait to see that one.

Hmm.

There is a new Tribeca movie released next month called How To Make Money Selling Drugs. It’s about users, addicts, dealers, and the flipside… Like the government, law enforcement, prisons, ect and how they are just as fucked up and want addicts to get to use drugs.

Lastly.

There is a movie that’s now on Netflix about the writer of Alf and his heroin addiction. Really interesting watch. Especially because the actor that plays a horrible opiate junkie is a young Ben Stiller lololol.

i hate subs.

I feel it’s pretty damn simple. We are all in differant stages in addiction or recovery. I’ve felt strongly on the pro sub side at one time and at another time in my life i was on the oppose of maintanence.

Honestly, what i found out. If you’re truly happy while being on maintanence and you are not on any other drug. Good for you. I’d support you.

Maintanence may be NECISSARY for some. 95% of us addicts will relapse. Some of which are chronic relapsers. Without maintanence DEATH might be the alternative. I take very little stock in the statistics when dealing with myself but for other addicts….. i cannot control your recovery so I do go by the facts.

I ended my affair with suboxone. I am happier than I was while on it. (Do not even try to dispute this because I am the only one that knows this) I understand everyone is differant. My story.

In order to stop suboxone I first, had to be READY. If your not ready please stay on your medicine. No fuckin shame.

its been 12 days! what is wrong with me:(

Hey malsmith,

Nothing is wrong with you, opiate wd just plain SUCKS. About your w/d from suboxone, it takes time. Ill steal a line from another member here Romeo, try to remember how bad your wd was a week ago, sometimes improvements happen so slowley we dont even notice them. But if you try and imagine how bad your wd was the week before you may be able to see the improvements.

Squeaky is right, the only way to feel better is to wait it out or take more opiates.

I understand your concern about taking high amounts of tylenol when your stomach is inflamed and you have pancreaitis(sp). And i also have had inattentive and unconcerned doctors in the past, that just rush me to get to the next one kinda thing. Maybe tou should advocate for yourself to get a med thats more suitable to you, maybe they can refer you to pain management.

Thats all i got, hope everything works out for you

Suboxone destroyed my life

I’m sorry to hear about your divorce. But IMO it’s a bit maligned to blame it all on the Sub. Imagine you didn’t choose to do something about your addiction and remained abusing painkillers all that time. How long do you think your wife would have stuck around if that were the case?

Taper Anxiety

Allan, I was curious because you did not say a lot about your treatment. How long have you been on the suboxone? Did you do a taper? Why have you seen three different doctors? Did your other doctors try to do a taper with you then when it was time to jump you had a hard time so they stopped helping you? Did you have to find another doctor because of this..?.. I am confused. What is your situation?, and why have you needed to see three different doctors? Why would’nt your original doctor continue to help you with maybe doing a slower taper, or giving you clonidine,or anti- nausea meds after you jumped and what dosage are you trying to jump off at?
