Thank you so much. And yes I see patients who are taking suboxone all the time, as I live in the ol’ pill mill state of Florida. I of course never let anyone know I am takin sub as well, but I know a lot of nurses and docs here who still call you a "junkie" when they see patients who are being treated with sub.

Cravings before and after Suboxone

I’m only about 6weeks off sub so I don’t have the long term experience as some of the folks on this site, but…

I remember my cravings before getting on sub to be much stronger. I actually still had pretty strong cravings the first year or so while on subs. In part because of the environment I was working in and the people I was around. I’d try to get high while I was on subs and eventually figured out it just wasn’t the same and financially a complete waste of money!! Over time I was able to get away from most of the bad influences which helped a lot…

After stopping subs the cravings have returned, but not as strong as they were when I was using. A lot of that is probably because I’ve changed my life around…I think I’d be having some real trouble staying clean if I was still working in a restaurant, going to school and around people who thought it was cool/fun to get high. The changes I made while on subs are helping the recovery…

Lets be honest, we like Suboxone because it gets us high.

Amber, chaim’s last post is his way of showing us how badly he lost his arguement. He keeps repeating the same old thing, hoping that if he somehow keeps saying the same thing over and over, we’ll magically see the wisdom in his idiocy…..but we all know there is no wisdom to be found there. Then, he gets mad (that’s always a sure sign that you’ve lost an agruement), but he didn’t stop there. He had to demonstrate in one more big way how badly he was getting beat, he resorted to name calling. Name calling, the defense of a 3rd grader.

Right now I am under two different doctors care and am prescribed subutex bc im prego. Both of my doctors tell me to never forget to take my sub bc it can cause a miscarriage and stress on the fetus! Trust me that the worst that can happen to your baby is it being born in wd but there is a low chance of that happening.
