If you go to GNC to get the product Bboy recommended, do NOT tell them you’re trying to pass a drug test, they will NOT sell you the product if you tell them you’re trying to pass a drug test. Just tell them you’re into exercise and you want to purge toxins from your body.

Really? I told the lady every time i had a test coming up and never once had the slightest problem guess times change. They know why people buy it thats why its locked up and you have to ask for it.

Antidepressant Suggestions

Hi, I just wanted to say that I am currently taking Sam-E, and it’s helping my depression without any real side effects that I can notice. You can buy it at the store, no prescription needed. Im not sure if it’s easy to come off of or not, I’m assuming it’s not too bad (my psychiatrist says its not)

I generally dont like anti depressants, although it’s been years since I was on one. I was on Remeron for a while and it was ok.

Just wanted to throw that out there. It hasn’t totally changed my life or anything, but it definitely has given me a mood boost since I’ve been on it.

Serious depression , looking for Suboxone doctor

I personally wouldn’t recommend sub treatment for depression. I think it might sound like a good idea at first and maybe even help your depression temporarily at first but I feel, after time, your depression symptoms could get even worse. Obviously I am not a doctor, just giving you advice from my personal experience. I had a bit of depression and elevated anxiety while on subs that didn’t develop until 2-3 years in. You are putting a lot on the line for a slight chance that suboxone could help with your depression. To get strung out on opiates, is to really look depression in the face.

Sorry buddy. I hope you get some relief in a healthier format.

Final Taper Thread – the process…

Thanks InvisibleMovement – I’ve been lucky that I haven’t taken any steps back since tapering below 1mg. I’m ready to be done with this and do not want to take any extra doses!

And Brittany – Don’t feel like your interrupting this thread! Please join in, I think it’s good to share experiences with each other. Especially considering I now know we’re at about the exact same dose…message me if you would like.

Just a little update for everyone. Again, that last little taper from .25mg/day – .2mg/day wasn’t bad at all. I never really had a hard time sleeping…night 2 and 3 I woke up a few times and got up early but no big deal. A little anxious the first few days at times, a little lethargic at times, but all in all mostly good feelings mentally and emotionally. I think I was well adjusted by day 4-5.

I’m working on .15mg/day this week. No issues to name, hardly notice any difference yet. I’d consider stopping now or within the next week if I had the time off work…I don’t think I’d feel too bad but I still believe I would feel some discomfort that would hinder my sleep/work if I stopped now. I’m dragging on until Thanksgiving when I’ll have 11days off work. I don’t anticipate feeling bad for 11days, but will probably need a few to get adjusted…guessing at this rate I’ll hop off around .05mg, maybe skip a day or two the last week?

If you have the patience, I think this is a great way to taper! Way easier than I thought, but I still say that cautiously.

Hello, Bobbie! I want to say, welcome to our forum! As for side effects, I had a few difficulties myself, although the pros definitely out weighed the cons for me. No hair loss or tooth decay though. My sub doc talks a lot about the fact that it’s been in use in Europe for a long time now. However, I haven’t seen any kind of long term studies on suboxone use either and I would like to hear some scientifically tested results of long term use.

For me, suboxone has been a drug that totally turned my life around. I couldn’t have made as much progress as I have without it. I’m in the process of tapering my dose very slowly and it is totally doable!

Take care and let us know if you have more questions!
