What? You drive? Youlazy Bastard!!! j/k!! I did .15mg today and was fine on it. Iexpect tomrrow to be good and struggle the third day but be fine on the fourth with a cut to .1 mg on the fifth. Same routine. And each time is easier. As for my staying clean, it is my own willpower. And that may sound like a shite plan to most, but I know myself and I would never do an NA program. I will stay active here. This has been an unbelievable outlet. And I want to be able to let others know it is possible to get clean. I think the freedom I feel about not needing to take pills with me when I leave the house is so great that I wil be fine. May sound like a recipe for disaster, as my doctor said, but I know I will be good. I will certainly be honest and let you know.

Additional Benefits from Suboxone in Pain

I meant organ toxicity… overdose is due to respiratory depression (stopping breathing), which is temporary. But of all those that don’t overdose, they don’t get any lasting side effects from their choice of poison. Toradol kills the kidneys. Tylenol kills the liver. Aspirin causes hearing loss. Between those four, I’d rather the opiates any day.

You don’t have to prove anything about kratom. The withdrawals from Kratom are worse, and yes, it’s just as addictive. Kratom acts the same as a full opiate agonist, so that’s why it does something for withdrawals in the first place. All you got to do is look around you’ll see that people here have already explained how badly addictive this stuff is, and how easy it is to have withdrawals from it.

It’s nice to see that everyone who swears by kratom is high on it when they post…but the people in withdrawals are too sick to come tell us how bad they feel. Great, you’re buzzing with kratom and it does take away the withdrawals.

What’s greater is that people have weaned themselves off of Suboxone without ANYTHING successfully and not had to swap pill for pill or whatever form kratom comes in.

(btw, I don’t care if you "scuse my tude"…fuck that. I simply ask that you post proof that validates your claims, and you posted something from a website of people who still enjoy getting high. This is a RECOVERY site..we’re not getting high here.)

Posting that ONE person had success is no help to anyone…they CLAIM they had success? Where’s THEIR medical degree..geez…what a double standard.

You know..when I PROVED MYSELF…I POSTED FACTS FROM THE PEDIATRIC ASSOCIATION OF AMERICA.(which is a board of medical doctors and people who actually KNOW)

NOT one guy who said he tried it and it worked.

Quitting after about 2 and a half months… what to expect?

I’ve been taking Suboxone since mid-December, with a few days off here and there. Originally started at ~3mg/day, lately I’ve been at ~1mg/day. I didn’t notice anything going to a lower dose, and did it abruptly. How long should I expect withdrawal to be if I were to jump at this dosage? In all reality, I will probably taper down from 1mg to smaller amounts over the next few days, as I have a tiny piece of strip left, as well as about a 1mg crumb of a tablet. Have I been taking Suboxone long enough to experience the level of WD that I’m reading about from long-term users on here? My reason for going on the Suboxone was multiple times daily IV heroin; although I will add that I am not going through a doctor, and have bought the Suboxone off of the "black market".

Thanks for any input.
