I think I made the 12 to 10 drop and then went from 10 to 8, and then I switched to dropping by 1 mg. Then I went down by 1 mg until I got to 4. Then 3.5, 3, 2.5, 2. Then I dropped in quarters.

I remember your posts and I, too, congratulate you. 9 months…..that’s awesome!!!!

I completely agree with what you said about nature looking or feeling different, I experienced that too.

My doc never drug tested me and never counted my script. I think he is a pretty straight up Doc. He left my taper/treatment plan up to me. I am surprised he never required anything from me. Good luck

I am glad you are back on the subbies i read your post talking about your relapse a while ago. I am sitting here after getting off work writing this. I felt great all day and have my tip $ sittin on my bedside table! My goal is to buy back the things i lost and work on my honesty. I got so good at lying again. Its amazing how when we slip we go back full blast if not worse than before. I thank you for your support and like your sit back and weigh the options idea. That will be crucial in the future.

Im still on 3, 8mg strips a day. I take them for pain control too. so Im not really interested in stopping any time soon. I work construction, and probably will forever, already have arthritus in my back, among a few other issues, and I just never, ever, want to take perscription pain meds again. I already know how that story ends……

Im completely fine with being on sub long term. Im currently on the RB patient assistance program. they approved me for a yr. so right now, I dont have to worry about it til the 1st of november. And after that my doctor is soposed to write aletter that will help (hopefully) me get it for another year. if not I may look into paying outta pocket for some kind of insurance that would help with buying the Rx.

and I think MANY of us have or had more than one drug of choice, thats for sure!!!!!!!

I am 25 years old, and a on off heroin user, ive been on probation for almost 2 years now, and i only have a little over a year left, I have never once dropped dirty at all, i haver never been in trouble once on probation. However, ihave recently within the last couple months started using pretty chronically again, I want off of the dope so badly, but i seem just to be getting worse. and i was thinking about gettiing on a suboxone program, ( which i have done once before a couple years ago before probation). But my question is, will the doctor question me if i am on probation, if so will he/she let my po know somehow. I just dont want my po to know i am using again. Also will the doctor drop me, if its dirty will it matter? if i am just starting? i dont wanna drop dirty at the docs office and my po finding out….? Can someone please give me some advice, what should i do?
