Sorry to hear you are having those side effects. When i first started taking suboxone I would get a really bad headache but it only lasted a few days. I live in Atlanta and out of all the people i know on maintenance, half of them are on suboxone and the other half subutex, so it’s not so uncommon to get prescribed it here. My doctor gave me subutex temporarily while I was switching insurances because of the price, the only thing he wanted to know if I ever shot up when I was using. I think that most doctors say that they only prescribe it to pregnant woman because they aren’t completely sure how honest you are about abusing it or so you stop asking. It’s extremely unfortunate you’re having these consequences so these doctors don’t have to spend an extra couple of minutes doing paper work.

9 months later, STILL cleaning up my mess

See? If you just sit and think about it awhile you come up with a great plan. Don’t listen to me, I said my old bad self was showing.

Some good advice here and I too agree this will blow over eventually. I’ll cancel my train ticket and put away my nine. No need to come up there and take care of business…….JUST KIDDING!

Sound minds prevailed.

Lucky you. I got kicked out of the sub clinic I was going to for testing + for MJ. It’s helping me sleep and eat and relax, yet it’s a no-no to my ex sub doc? Go figure. A few months ago I was tempted to go find OC’s, but instead I smoked some bud and that killed the craving at the time, and I end up being discharged from the sub program over it.

Did Anyone Else Finally Get Their Emotions Back While On Sub

I don’t think the Sub has changed the way I feel emotionaly to much. One thing I do notice though. I certainly don’t feel joy as I used to. I used to get so excited about doing things like snowboarding, boating or going on vacation. Now, I couldn’t be bothered by those things. I guess all medicine has side effects and this may just be one of them.

But, I sometimes wonder if it’s just been so long since ive been off sub, and just don’t remember how I felt before it. My friends say i’m not the same person I was (but in a good way that is) before sub. I was a bit of a "Wild Card" they say. I’ve been told that people liked to be around me, but not because I was such a great person. It was becasue they never knew what to expect from me. I must have entertained them or something. Great friends I had….
It’s true, I was all over the place before the sub, up one minute, down the next. I never knew what kind of mood I was gonna be in later. I’m sure all the drugs I was doing didn’t help the situation either. Now that I think about, thats probibly why I used all those drugs in the first place, trying to be more stable I guess.. Hmmm, I think I’m on to something here..

Back to the subject.. I think that the subs effects on emotions have actually help me, more then they have hurt me personaly.

any how thanks for listening..
