Yes you should def look into suboxone mainly right now to beat the WDs. But it could also work for your pain it didnt for me but it helps plenty of members on this forum so who knows. If you dont mind me asking and it would also help all of us, what kind of dose’s (aka mgs) were u taking/what r your injuries? I dont know how suboxone treatment is in your area but my only worry is you might have to wait a while till you get into a program. But if it is not to bad you should be able to find a DR quickly.
I just wanted to throw this out there it sounds like you were getting your meds leagally with perscription thus meaning you have documented chronic pain. If so and the suboxone route just ends you up on a bunch of waiting list you can call your pain Doc and ask him about methadone. I switched to methadone from suboxone and all i can say is it saved my life. It works a thousand times better than suboxone DID FOR ME AND ONLY ME, as for next person i couldnt tell u which would work better. But i too have serious pain issues without gettint into it, ill just tell you how much meds i took a day to give you a idea. 300mg of oxycontin and 1200mcg of fentora.
But i think a congrats is in order just getting this far off the meds so good job and keep strong. And be very persistent on checking in with sub dr till you get in. But if i takes to long than again you could get meth from your dr.
