Yeah ladder … now we’ve been dependent on high dose opioids (whatever you were using AND Suboxone), be prepared for your tolerance to opioids to be higher than ‘normal people’ likely for the rest of your life.

8mg of Suboxone is 40 times the ‘normal person’s’ painkilling dose (!!!) . Weren’t you on 32 mg? That’s like 120 x a normal painkilling dose! Whether we like it or not, our baseline tolerance will always be higher than that of other people even years after using. It’s the lasting legacy of opioid dependence.

BTW I just wanna say this is great, and we should have more threads like this regularly.
