Yay Sparxylady,
Im glad you got a little extra sub. That will give you time to find a doctor.
I wonder if the high risk OB is able to prescribe subs. That would be nice!
I know what you mean when you say you feel guilty about deceiving your doctor.I am also 40 and trying to be honest with everyone in my life. I had a relapse back in may and i feel like now is the time to really change. I dont want to be a 50 year old addict! I even had to tell my brand new manager at my brand new job that I am an addict in recovery. (it is required I do that by the board of nursing if I want to continue to use my license.) That was one of the hardest things I have ever done. Thank God she is an awesome person andI got the job! Anyway, there is a fine line though between being honest and being TOO honest. I mean you have to do what is right for you to protect your recovery and the health of your baby. I think you made the right decision in this case.
Good luck with your up coming appointments! Keep us updated and post as often as you like. There are alot of pregnant moms who come on here worrying about taking suboxone. Im sure it would be really informative for us to follow your story.
Take care!
