One idea is to just take the subs for 3 or 4 days just to stave off the dope withdraws. You won’t be getting high off the subs, and you will still feel withdraws, but they can at least be bearable enough for you to function throughout the day. After you are certain you won’t have precipitated withdraw, take just a quarter of the suboxone pill once a day for 3 days and then stop. You might feel minor withdraws for 3 additional days but then you will start to feel better.
