Hi Tndb and thanks for sharing your experience with us. Often before people have surgery, we direct them to this thread with an excellent NIH article in it:

NIH is the National Institute for Health and is a very reputable source. The article discusses the several ways to treat acute pain in suboxone and methadone patients. We always encourage each other to not only read the article themselves, but to print out extra copies for anesesiologists and surgeons (and sub doctors as well).

I hope if you need surgery again it goes better.
