Hi DC,

You have been through so much lately that I applaud your strength to get through all of it. You did make a statement that has me a bit concerned. It was: "But many times get stung by the fashion police, aka moderators." What exactly do you mean by that? Considering the absence of several moderators the last few days, the only person who is actively moderating right now is me. What have I said that was not supportive? I don’t want members to have a negative view of the mods here so please tell me what the problems were. I have a vague memory of you and I not seeing eye to eye but that happens on any recovery site. Please remember what this site is for. It is for all addicts who choose whatever way to get clean. We don’t want people to challenge others decisions on what they chose to do for treatment. So yes, we do get a bit upset with all the recent Suboxone bashing. If you want to bash Sub, do it in the Freestyle section. That’s what it was made for.

Of course we all support you in your quest of being completely clean, including Suboxone. Yes, some have challenged your way of explaining getting the felony, but in recovery meetings we learn to pull the covers back on addicts when we think they’re in denial. Please don’t take it the wrong way, it was meant to help you see your situation in a clearer light.

I hope this post didn’t make your view of moderators worse. We do the best we can as volunteers.
