@rausy1975 – I’m prescribed Proprananol as well for withdrawals, but I haven’t had to take it. I’ve heard it’s similar to clonidine, but Clonidine isn’t a beta blocker. Have you taken a both before and know how they compare? How does it effect you and what symptoms does it help reduce?

| I too had a big benzo habit at the beginning of taking Suboxone. What helped me was getting on a beta blocker. It helps block adrenaline which makes you nervous in the first place. I currently take Proprananol every day. Just a thought. I also want to warn you (not scare you) that I had 2 seizures when I was coming off benzos. So it is so so so important to slow taper those or do it in a detox facility.
