First of all, I want to thank the good folks who started this forum – it indeed has been a great help to me. If you live in the Savannah GA area, and want to know a good MD to see, just send me an email or message and I will gladly share (not sure if I am allowed to post names, numbers, etc.)

I wanted to recommend my Doc because when I decided to stop using and seek treatment using Suboxone, I had a very hard time finding him. Using the same method I assume most people use, I google searched doctors in my area. I called number after number and got a wide variety of responses. It seemed as if the people I spoke with were very vauge, seemed suspicous and paranoid. I reached a treatment center that was able to get me in that same day, but they charged $1200 up front! I called a few Dr’s offices only to be told. "we dont prescribe that!" I was even told by one office that the Doctor I asked about no longer had a license.

I left a message with this DR and got a call back the same day, and arranged an appt. within 3 days. He only charges 250 (with 25 for the drug test) for the 1st visit (induction) which lasted about 3 1/2 hours, and 100 for the follow up 2 weeks later and for each monthly visit, this includes the drug test. The office manager is the Dr’s wife, and they are good people. I hope this can be of help to someone in need.
