I have been up and down about taking Suboxone while in mild to moderate withdraws. I obtained some for emergencies, and here I am. I take Opana, Duladid and an occasional Oxycodone. I am under a health care professional who prescribes me the Opana. When I run short, I obtain the latter two. I have lowered my dosages almost to nothing, but am beginning to withdraw from the opiates. I am not educated on Suboxone, but read a lot about participative withdraw if you take it too soon. My withdraw at this time isn’t as bad as it has been, but it’s bad. I took just a fraction of my Opana this morning, about 3.75 mg and am deteriorating quickly. Do I need to wait the 12-24 hours before I use suboxone to help get me through until my doctor’s appointment late tomorrow? I really just don’t have time to slow down, but I don’t want to make a bad situation worse. Please hit me back with some advice if you can. Thanks!
