Welcome to the forum. Congratulations on taking a HUGE step in your life, it takes a lot of courage to stop taking your DOC and get on Sub. It will be worth it.
Just like any drug, Suboxone has side-effects. For most people they are very tolerable and with time and getting your dose right they will settle down.
Sub does not normally cause depression, in fact, it often helps with that sort of thing, there’s a lot of research going on a the moment with Buprenorphine being used for the treatment of refractory depression with very good results.
Anyway, hang in there, you will feel a lot better soon.
