I was taking a lot of fentanyl IV! Not the duragesic gell crap but the hospital injectable. I was taking up to 1000 mcg a day! I only did this for a couple of months and knew I had to kick it and so I went off it cold turkey ( which was absolute hell!!). I told my DR that 24 was way too much but he told me I would be fine and needed that much! I felt drunk for the rest of the day then started getting these bouts of nausea that would hit like a ton of bricks. I had about 7 seconds before I blew chunks so I kept a bowl close!! The next day I took 2 mg and 30 min latter I was puking again. I puked the next day every 30 min till about 5pm then my sister brought me some phenergan and I slept the rest of the night. I woke up the next morning feeling hung over but the nausea was gone so I tried another 2 mg and this time it worked great!?, I took another 2 mg that night and today iv taken a total of 6 mg to keep my cravings down. I am hoping to wean down bak to 2 mg a day. But he’ll he wrote for 90 8/2 strips!! This could easily last me for a couple of months!! Time to stock pile!!
