Hi Swede,

You should have no problem with just bringing in your legally prescribed medication into the U.S. I’ve traveled abroad and no one questioned my medication. I kept it in my carry on bag so it wouldn’t be any further than a few feet away from me at all times. And yes, I would ask the doctor to give you a months supply to travel with. I have no idea if you could use a prescription from outside the U.S. in our pharmacies. The medication is probably not the same. It wouldn’t hurt to call one of our pharmacies like CVS and ask. All they can do is say no. But your doctor would know the answer to that one anyway.
