hey Phil, i hear ya! i never had anxiety like that, and couldnt sleep for 3 days. and also felt dumb as a box of rocks! everyone adapts to this med differently, i was so frustrated when i read total success stories. it will get better everyday, just takes time for your system to adjust. i am very lucky to have found this med, and this forum!

I’m so scared that this will never end………

Hello Kasia,
Thank’s for sharing your story, and I’m sure lot’s of folk can relate to the hell your going through.
We addict’s go M.I.A. for longer and longer periods of our lives, as the disease actively progesses. Working on recovery is hard, but well worth it and you can do it. You are part of a beautiful family, and I really hope you get clear of the cycle that is evloving here.
Best Wishes

Need a SUB Doctor,Have a list of Doc’s but where to start?

From my experience (which is little) .. just call and ask about prices. Find out who’s cheapest if you are paying cash. From what I gathered in my search there are some sub docs out there that are crooked. The one closest to me is.

Once you’ve found your guy, make an appointment.

When they ask how you found them, just tell them you are ready to change your life for the better. They will treat you like a human. Not a loser.

Hope this helps,

Ryan

I had him! He’s now my pride and joy(: he weighed 7lbs 12.4 oz born at 12:56 p.m on the 26th! The only downside is he’s in the nicu, nothing to do with the subs,as he was coming out(c-section) he got some fluid in his lungs and stomach and was/still is having a little trouble breathing ): , it’s no longer there today,it went away, thank you lord, but other than that he’s a healthy beautiful angel! They plan on keeping him until his "supposed to be due date" which sucks. )’:

Starting suboxone on Monday… scared

I actually took the doctors word and waited the almost 72 hours before being seen. Only reason really was because I didn’t want to spend another cent on pills. I don’t really advise doing that.. I was also seen on a monday and that weekend was the longest 2 days of my life!

One thing you have to look forward to is a hell of alot of freedom! No more pills is going to open a huge amount of time in your life. You might expect to have some insomnia the first couple days.. I would also shy away from trazadone if thats what they decide to give ya for a sleep aid. It made me horribly sick for some reason.

Good luck and I think you will find a bit of self worth in this process, which is really great considering how much we beat ourselves down going through the addiction cycle. Continue to build on that self worth and you will be golden.
